See that ridiculous sunset over the Arno?   That's what we call "evening" in Florence.  See those happy students?  They went to Mercer.  They went to Florence.  That could be you this summer.

Welcome to Carry On! A blog for the students, faculty, and friends of Mercer's Philosophy and Art Study Abroad Program.

This year, we're gearing up for summer in Florence, Italy.  This will be the fourth time we've based our program in Florence, more times than any other site.  And, that's because we love it.  You will, too!

Our courses are:  Drawing Fundamentals, Advanced Drawing, Human Nature and Art, Italian Renaissance Philosophy, and Machiavelli in Florence.  Students may take 1-3 courses as a part of the program.

Our dates are June 30-July 19, the cost is $2500 + tuition +airfare.

We'll be posting more information in the coming days, so check back regularly.  Or, if you like, drop me and email, and I'll be happy to answer your questions:  thomas_cc@mercer.edu.

You really should come to Italy with us.  You'll really be glad you did!

Ciao,
Charlie
